Senior QS

Job Description

One of our clients are looking for an experienced Senior QS for a substation project in Amersham.

Set-up:
* ASAP start
* 6-month initial contract
* Hybrid role - 3 days minimum on site
* Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
* Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
* Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
* Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
* Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
* Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.

Client wants:
* Previous experience working for T1 contractors in live project setting
* Substation experience preferred
* Proven experience as QS
* Strong communication and good organisation skills and time management
* Ability to manage high-risk schemes
