As a key member of our management team, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of both commercial and domestic Solar PV installations. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, ready to make a long-term impact, and keen to take on a leadership position within a company that delivers a significant number of Solar PV projects each year.
In this hands-on role, you’ll manage a team of 5 electricians and report directly to our Operations Director. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of Solar PV installations, focusing on commercial properties, with some domestic installations as well as domestic and larger commercial battery installations.

- Lead the ongoing training and recruitment of the electrical team to meet business needs.
- Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics for efficient project execution.
- Oversee the completion of installations, troubleshooting any issues prior to handover to ensure high-quality standards.
- Inspect completed installations and resolve any technical challenges in order to sign these off.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while driving continual improvement in standards.
- As this is a hands-on role, be prepared to pitch in and support the team to meet deadlines.
- Travel to various UK sites, as the majority of your time will be spent on-site.

Your technical knowledge of popular solar PV brands, including SolarEdge, and your expertise in connecting PV and battery systems for web monitoring will be key to your success. Higher-level electrical qualifications, such as Level 3 NVQ, HNC/HND, AM2, and Inspection and Testing, are essential.

We support customers to generate and store their own power, by installing solar panels and battery storage. We also develop innovative tariffs to pay small generators fairly for what they export; and to get households involved in balancing the grid too.
