We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Natural Resources Team. Based at our Mogden Treatment works site in Twickenham, you'll be essential for overseeing all electrical works and subcontractors on site.

Location: Working from site at Mogden, Twickenham

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know


Responsibilities

We're looking for a Electrical Supervisor to join our NRNN business unit Water business unit looking after electrical activity on site at Mogden Treatment Works for Thames Water. You'll analyse risks and avoid electrical danger whilst operating, supervising or working on or near the Electrical System. The role is an electrically competent person who has adequate technical knowledge, training and experience.

Your day to day will include:

  • You'll be the key technical support for the client, support staff and workforce, and will ensure the site is operated in a safe manner.
  • Undertaking site inductions, toolbox talks and maintain supervision of specialist sub-contractors, as well as coordination and management of the site operational team including schedule of works.
  • Working with Mechanical, Electrical, ICA and civil colleagues to ensure activities are managed and coordinated and attend planned meetings in developing site delivery programmes
  • Issue and cancelation of electrical Safety Document(s): ‘Isolation Certificate - Electrical' (ICE), ‘Permit to Work' (PTW), ‘Sanction to Test' (STT), & ‘Limitation of Access' (LOA);
  • Ensure that all Persons working under their control are competent for the task they are to perform.


What are we looking for?


This Electrical Supervisor is great for you if you have:

  • Experience of managing the Electrical delivery of major projects including HV/LV power works, cabling and containment and switchgear, able to review functional design specifications and developing control philosophies, single line diagrams, Prodesign calculations, test and commissioning.
  • Electrician qualification to level 3 with SSSTS or SMSTS.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills including leading and managing technical teams.
  • Able to take the lead with client interfaces and manage project delivery on technical and business aspects of team outputs.
  • Able to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the required outputs in terms of quality, cost and programme.
