Do you want to work at one of London's top educational establishments? We are recruiting for an exciting role at London South Bank University Contract. This went live in June 2024 for a 5 year term.
This role will work with in the Hard Services engineering team supporting the team.
The Scheduler will;
- Using the CAFM system and processes, ensure that the correct engineering resource is deployed to achieve first time fixes for customers.
- Using the latest scheduling software, manage the delivery of jobs allocated to the engineering delivery. This will range from using internal engineers to subcontractors as appropriate, with the aim of ensuring that the job is attended within the specified SLAs.
- Once attendance has been met the Scheduler will also manage the completion of the job as well as ensuring that all parts and materials are accounted for, and all required documentation is completed.
The role involves scheduling both reactive works, ensuring that tasks are assigned to the appropriate resources based on location, expertise, and response time targets. The job requires accurately recording all job-related information in relevant systems and optimizing engineer productivity by ensuring efficient use of their workdays. It also includes following up on jobs marked incomplete by engineers, reassigning them as necessary. The position may involve arranging third-party attendance and managing Purchase Orders and Work Requests, ensuring all tasks are completed within required response times and costs. Additionally, communication with stakeholders must be handled professionally and promptly, with non-productive time accounted for in the system. The role also entails escalating issues related to jobs, clients, or engineers and maintaining full audit trails. Adherence to company policies and procedures is essential, and the role includes reporting any deficiencies in systems or equipment that could impact service delivery, safety, or the environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in service delivery or contact environments, strong IT skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
