Job description - the role

Our client, Deutsche Bank, is a global banking business with strong roots in Germany and operations in over 70 countries. Their large but focused footprint gives them an established position in Europe plus a significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific. Deutsche Bank offer their clients commercial and investment banking, retail banking and transaction banking as well as ground-breaking asset and wealth management products and services.

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Project Manager (KYC & Digital Transformation) based in London (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office), for a 6 Months contract on a PAYE basis.

We are looking for a Project Manager (KYC & Digital Transformation) with a Consulting background to support a large-scale KYC and onboarding re-engineering program. You will connect technology and business, translating complex technical situations into clear, actionable business strategies.


Key responsibilities:

  • Drive an end-to-end digital transformation program focused on KYC and onboarding.

  • End to End Agile experience in large scale technology delivery in financial institutions, specifically Data execution.

  • Develop high-impact C-suite and board-level PowerPoint presentations that create a compelling narrative.

  • Extract, analyse, and interpret data-driven insights to drive cost-saving and efficiency-improving initiatives.

  • Engage with relationship managers and clients to secure buy-in for proposed solutions.

  • Support the transformation program using Agile and Six Sigma methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Consulting experience.

  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills - must be able to create impactful senior-level presentations.

  • Solid understanding of KYC, onboarding, and financial services (retail or investment banking).

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business impacts and effectively communicate them.

  • Strong analytical skills - experience in extracting and interpreting data.

  • Experience working in Agile environments and process re-engineering.
