Financial Controller

Job Description

Butler Rose is recruiting a Financial Controller for a successful business in Tiverton, on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Finance Director and working closely with them, this role will take ownership for the finance function, working in a business partnering capacity with the wider business and ensuring a fit for purpose and efficient finance team.

Key duties will include:

• Lead, manage and mentor the finance team
• Oversee monthly management accounts production
• Prepare and present financial reports to the leadership team
• Lead the annual budgeting process including re-forecasting
• Cash flow management
• Financial analysis to include financial modelling on areas including CAPEX
• Oversee the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors
• Involvement in ERP implementation
• Involvement in strategic planning, working closely with the senior leadership team

The successful candidate will be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience of managing a finance team, ensuring best practice and adding value to the wider business. You will be a strong communicator, with the ability to impact change, using data to inform decision making.
