Bookkeeper
Walsall
£25,000 to £35,000

Butler Rose Public Practice is pleased to be supporting our client, a reputable Walsall-based accounting firm, which is looking to add a qualified and experienced bookkeeper to their team.

Role Requirements -

• Working in a professional accountancy practice environment, you will have proven experience of supporting a diverse client portfolio with a range of accounting requirements as well as being highly proficient in the use of cloud-based software such as XERO, Quickbooks and Sage.
• Daily bookkeeping - bank reconciliations, sales and purchase invoice processing using XERO, Sage and Quickbooks
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns using CCH
• End to end payroll administration for clients of varying frequencies using Ernie (IRIS payroll software)
• Basic year end accounts production using CCH where required
• Liaising with clients to obtain data and on their behalf with the HMRC

Person Requirements -

• AAT or QBE bookkeeper with at least 4+ years' experience working within accountancy practice
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of cloud accounting systems in particular Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
