Wirral - QSW - DOLS & Review Team £33 P/H

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the DoLS & Review Team in Wirral on a temporary basis. This role involves working with adults who lack capacity, ensuring that Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) assessments and care reviews are conducted in line with legal and best practice requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake DoLS assessments and reviews to ensure compliance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Complete strengths-based assessments and reviews in line with the Care Act 2014.
Work collaboratively with health professionals, care providers, legal teams, and families.
Ensure that safeguarding principles and human rights considerations are central to decision-making.
Provide professional advice and support on complex mental capacity and DoLS cases.
Maintain accurate case records and reports, ensuring timely and effective case management.

Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with Social Work England registration.
Experience in DoLS assessments, mental capacity assessments, and adult safeguarding.
Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014, and Human Rights Act.
Ability to manage a complex caseload while ensuring compliance with statutory duties.
Excellent communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.
