? Hiring: Senior Social Worker / Senior Practitioner - MASH Team ?
? Location: Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH
? Pay Rate: £38.50 per hour (Umbrella)
? Contract: 3 months (Potential for Extension)
? Hybrid: Minimum 2 days per week in the office
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Social Worker / Senior Practitioner to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Bromley. The role involves screening and risk assessing referrals, collaborating with multi-agency partners, and ensuring timely and effective decision-making for children at risk.
Key Responsibilities:
? Conduct thorough assessments of referrals to determine the level of risk and appropriate intervention.
? Work closely with partner agencies (police, health, education) to gather and analyse information.
? Make timely and well-evidenced decisions on the most appropriate course of action for children and families.
? Ensure safeguarding measures are in place, following Children's Act 1989/2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children guidance.
? Maintain accurate and high-quality case records in line with statutory requirements.
About You:
? Qualified Social Worker with MASH experience (Essential).
? Strong analytical and risk assessment skills within child safeguarding.
? Ability to make clear and defensible decisions under pressure.
? Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.
? Must be available to work from the office at least 2 days per week.
