Grid Connection Engineer for a Renewable Energy Developer (Wind, Solar, BESS)
Germany | Hybrid | Full-Time

What You'll Be Doing
✔ Lead grid connection applications & approvals for wind, solar, BESS & hydrogen.
✔ Conduct impact studies, load flow analysis & interconnection feasibility.
✔ Liaise with TSOs/DSOs to secure faster approvals & optimal connection points.
✔ Work on congestion management strategies to reduce curtailment risks.
✔ Ensure compliance with German & EU grid regulations (TOR, VDE, NC RfG).
What You Bring
✔ 3+ years of experience in renewable energy grid connection.
✔ Strong understanding of grid flexibility, energy storage integration & power system modeling.
✔ Knowledge of SCADA, EMS, and real-time balancing.
✔ Proficiency in DigSilent, PSS/E, or ETAP.
✔ Fluent English (German is a plus).
