Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement therapy programs to support individuals in achieving their functional goals.
• Work with clients experiencing physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges to develop tailored intervention strategies.
• Provide guidance on adapting environments to improve clients' ability to perform daily tasks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, social workers, and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct functional assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on techniques and strategies to enhance independence.
• Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc or MSc) from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience working in a healthcare, social care, or community setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• A valid UK driver's license (if applicable).
