Working Hours: 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £11.44
Job Description:
My client is seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Receptionist to join their team immediately for a short-term assignment, starting on 3rd March and running until 11th March 2025. This role will provide a crucial first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a smooth and professional front-of-house experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate team members
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain the reception area to ensure it is always neat and tidy
- Respond to email inquiries and direct them to the correct department
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
- Support with scheduling and meeting room bookings
- Provide general support to the office staff as needed
Requirements:
- Must be available to start immediately (03rd March 2025)
- Prior experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role is preferred, but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available to work the full duration of the assignment (3rd March - 11th March 2025)
