Location: NE1 2LA

Duration: 3rd March - 11th March 2025

Working Hours: 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Pay Rate: £11.44


Job Description:

My client is seeking a reliable and professional Temporary Receptionist to join their team immediately for a short-term assignment, starting on 3rd March and running until 11th March 2025. This role will provide a crucial first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a smooth and professional front-of-house experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate team members
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Maintain the reception area to ensure it is always neat and tidy
  • Respond to email inquiries and direct them to the correct department
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
  • Support with scheduling and meeting room bookings
  • Provide general support to the office staff as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be available to start immediately (03rd March 2025)
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role is preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be available to work the full duration of the assignment (3rd March - 11th March 2025)
