Qualified Social Worker - Adults Services
? Location: Civic Campus, Euclid Street, Swindon, SN1 2JG
? Pay Rate: £36 per hour
? Duration: 24 Weeks
? Hours: 37 per week
? IR35 Status: Inside

About the Role:
Swindon Borough Council is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join their Adults Services team. This role involves working within a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality social care to adults in need.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans in line with the Care Act 2014
Safeguarding vulnerable adults and ensuring their well-being
Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including health and voluntary sector partners
Managing a caseload, ensuring timely and proportionate interventions
Completing Mental Capacity Act (MCA) assessments and Best Interests decisions where required
Supporting service users and their families to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements:
? Social Work England (SWE) registration
? Minimum of 2 years experience in Adult Social Care
? Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, MCA, and Safeguarding Adults procedures
? Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team and manage complex cases
? Excellent communication, assessment, and report-writing skills
