? Hiring: Senior Social Worker - Children in Need (CIN) Team ?

? Location: 222 Upper Street, Islington, N1 1XR
? Pay Rate: £38.50 per hour

Islington is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Need (CIN) Team. This is a dynamic and busy role that will involve managing cases for children on Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) Plans.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Social Worker in the CIN Team, you will:
? Complete Children and Family (C&F) assessments to identify children and families needs.
? Manage a caseload of children on CIN and CP Plans, ensuring their safety and well-being.
? Lead the process of initiating Court proceedings when necessary.
? Transfer cases to Looked After Children (LAC) teams when appropriate, ensuring seamless case transitions.
? Work in collaboration with a wide range of professionals to meet the needs of vulnerable children and families.

About You:
? Experienced Social Worker with a strong background in Children in Need and Child Protection work.
? Competent in assessments and case management for vulnerable children and families.
? Knowledgeable about Children Act 1989, child protection procedures, and relevant legislation.
? Excellent communication skills for working with families, professionals, and stakeholders.
? Ability to handle complex casework in a fast-paced environment.
