Overview:
Portsmouth City Council is seeking an Experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their Fostering Support Team. This role involves providing support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring the best outcomes for children in foster care.

Key Responsibilities:
?? Supervise and Support Foster Carers to ensure they provide high-quality care to looked-after children.
?? Undertake Regular Visits to foster placements, offering guidance and completing assessments.
?? Work Collaboratively with social workers, foster carers, and other professionals.
?? Complete Form F Assessments and prepare reports for fostering panels.
?? Safeguard and Promote the Welfare of children in foster care.
?? Deliver Training and Development sessions for foster carers.
?? Support Foster Carers with Placement Stability and any challenges they may face.

What We're Looking For:
? Qualified Social Worker (SWE Registered)
? Experience in Fostering or Looked-After Children Teams
? Strong knowledge of fostering regulations and legislation
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
? Good assessment and report-writing skills
? Commitment to improving outcomes for children in care
