? Location: Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Milton Keynes MK9 3EJ
? Pay Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella)

? Hybrid Working - 2/3 Days in Office

Role Overview:
Milton Keynes Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Family Support Team. The role involves working with children and families to ensure their safety, stability, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
?? Assess and support children and families under Section 17 and Section 47 of the Children Act 1989.
?? Develop and implement care plans to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
?? Undertake court work and prepare reports for care proceedings.
?? Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals, including schools, health services, and family support services.
?? Conduct regular home visits and ensure children's voices are central to decision-making.
?? Manage a caseload of complex cases while ensuring statutory duties are met.
?? Provide safeguarding interventions and work with families to reduce risk.

Requirements:
? Qualified Social Worker (SWE Registered)
? Experience working in a Family Support Team or similar statutory setting
? Strong knowledge of child protection, CIN, CP, and court proceedings
? Excellent assessment, report-writing, and decision-making skills
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
