If you are a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a friendly and supportive working environment, then come and join us at Drumchapel Vets for Pets!
This role can be full-time or part-time, ideally covering 30 hours per week, with Saturday morning shifts required every third or every fourth week. There are no Sunday or out-of-hours commitments, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We offer flexibility with shift patterns and weekend schedules, so if you have any specific preferences, feel free to get in touch!
About Us:
You’ll be joining a hard-working and inclusive team who are passionate about being at the heart of the local community. Our practice provides excellent facilities giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients.
We are a small and close-knit team and since opening 9 years ago have built a loyal client base. You will be joining a team of 3 Vets (plus our regular locum colleagues), 1 RVN, 2 VCAs and 4 CCAs. Many members of our team have been with us a number of years creating a fantastic comradery and an ethos in which we support each other.
We are in a great location on the Great Western Retail Park with ample parking and great access to local amenities, for those important lunch breaks! Drumchapel is a fantastic place to be however you spend your free time, with being on the edge of the city of Glasgow; one of the most exciting, friendly and culturally vibrant cities. Or if you prefer the peace and tranquillity of nature at its finest, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are a short drive away; great for walking, cycling, climbing and sailing.
About the Role:

You should have good experience of veterinary nursing with a genuine interest in animal welfare, enjoying the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike. Excellent customer service and communication skills are also needed. Our nurses are veterinary professionals and as such we ensure that they are able to fulfil their clinical potential.
