We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Kier Places Building Solutions team based in Bristol.
Location: Bristol, travel to sites and offices across the region as required
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Project Manager , you'll be working within the Building Solutions team, supporting them in leading and managing large, complex and/or high value projects, ensure resources are controlled, the outputs defined in the project outline are delivered within time, budget and defined quality parameters.
Your day to day will include:
- Being fully conversant with all stages of the construction process.
- Take operational lead of projects from initial tender, lead the second stage design process and ultimately deliver in the construction phase and retail responsibility post completion.
- Oversee the implementation of the Health and Safety management systems.
- Through consultation with the site team, ensure that good health and safety is achieved through early and effective planning of all operations to include CDM ownership.
- Work closely with the Senior commercial team, and be responsible for the financial delivery of the projects.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if:
- You have a background in a similar services type environment or obtained a high level of education in relevant subjects or be willing to undertake training both internal and external to the company.
- Have a good understanding of the company, its products, and its organisation both geographical and structural.
- Extensive practice as a project manager with experience of delivering low to high value projects or varying scopes within a similar contract.
- SMSTS
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
- CDM experience essential
