Senior Planner

We're looking for a Planner to join our Kier Places Building Solutions team based in Bristol.

Location: Bristol - hybrid working available, with travel to the office and sites required

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday – some flexibility on start/finish times available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Planner, you'll be working within the Building Solutions team, supporting them in a wide variety of projects across the South West including works procured through numerous high profile frameworks..

Your day to day will include:

• Working closely with the Preconstruction team developing initial programmes and phasing for both competitively tendered and negotiated schemes.
• Working closely with project team to assist them in developing realistic target construction programmes
• Retaining an overall monitoring capacity to ensure construction plans are created, updated, and amended in line with project needs.
• Actively offer subject matter expertise on planning elements to wider operational teams

What are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if:

• You have experience using using planning software - Asta / Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• You have experience in planning with a main contractor delivering construction projects
• You have experience in producing project methodology and logistical plans
• You have good construction technical knowledge across relevant work packages
• You have excellent communication skills, able to work across teams in an advisory capacity and collaborate
  across departments.
