We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Kier Places commercial team based in Solihull.

 

Location: Solihull - agile working available, with travel to the office as required

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday – FLEX INFO HERE - some flexibility on start/finish times available if required, just let us know when you speak to us

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Commercial Manager, you'll be working within the Places Commercial team, supporting them in ensuring that all commercial aspects of the projects under their remit are properly managed and controlled, and that commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance with the requirements of the business.

Your day to day will include:

  • Being visible as the commercial lead in the area/workstream.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate governance, standards and procedures.
  • Establishing, building and maintaining exceptional client relationships to meet both strategic and delivery needs of the region/workstream.
  • Providing assistance, support and guidance on all commercial issues within the projects and ensure that commercial staff attain their maximum potential.

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Commercial Manager is great for you if:

  • You have extensive experience leading a team of quantity surveyors, costing staff and project planners
  • You are Degree qualified, or equivalent
  • You have experience of development and implementation of procedures
  • You have strong knowledge of a wide range of contract conditions
  • You have strong contractual experience within Residential Solutions
