Transmission System Operator (TSO) (m/f/d)

Many grid engineers at TSOs struggle with slow decision-making, rigid structures, and delayed infrastructure upgrades. My client, a leading Transmission System Operator (TSO), is different. They prioritize fast-track approvals, modern HVDC solutions, and proactive grid expansion.

With billions of euros committed to Germany's Netzentwicklungsplan (NEP 2035), this is your opportunity to shape the country's high-voltage grid for the renewable energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Design and oversee grid expansion projects for new HV/EHV transmission corridors.
✔ Develop solutions for grid congestion, bottlenecks, and stability issues.
✔ Conduct load flow, short-circuit, and stability studies to optimize transmission upgrades.
✔ Work closely with regulators, TSOs, and policymakers to ensure compliance with German & EU grid codes.
✔ Support cross-border interconnection projects with neighboring TSOs.

Your Profile

* 5+ years' experience in transmission grid planning or HV/EHV infrastructure projects.
* Strong expertise in HVDC, HVAC, FACTS, and grid stability solutions.
* Proficiency in DigSilent PowerFactory, PSS/E, PSCAD.
* Experience working with TSO regulations (TenneT, 50Hertz, Amprion, TransnetBW).
* Fluent in English (German is a plus).
