Salary: Up to £31,146
Contract: Temporary (3 months)
Brook Street are looking for a Health & Safety Administrator to assist in maintaining a safe working environment for staff, visitors, and contractors. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contributing to key safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Assist the Health & Safety Advisor in carrying out risk assessments and inspections
✔️ Support the management of health & safety services and supplies contracts
✔️ Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and policies
✔️ Maintain and update health & safety records, including intranet content
✔️ Process purchase orders and invoices within timescales
✔️ Act as a point of contact for health & safety queries and customer service matters
✔️ Occasionally deputise for the Health & Safety Advisor as needed
What We're Looking For:
✅ Knowledge of health & safety regulations, including PUWER and fire safety regulations
✅ Strong administrative and organisational skills
✅ Ability to liaise with various teams and contractors effectively
✅ Experience in risk assessment and safety compliance is desirable
This role carries specific responsibilities for health & safety compliance, requiring attention to detail and a proactive approach. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
