About the Role:
Bromley Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager for the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) within the Children & Families Hub. You will oversee the daily operations of the team, ensuring timely and effective safeguarding responses to concerns raised about children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
?? Manage and oversee the MASH team - ensuring high-quality safeguarding decisions
?? Screen, triage, and assess referrals for children at risk of harm
?? Work closely with partner agencies (Police, Health, Education, and Social Care)
?? Ensure timely interventions and proportionate responses to concerns raised
?? Quality assure referrals, assessments, and decision-making
?? Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to social workers and support staff
?? Attend strategy meetings and contribute to risk assessments
What We're Looking For:
? Qualified Social Worker (SWE registered)
? Significant MASH experience is essential
? Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation & threshold criteria
? Experience managing complex referrals & risk assessments
? Ability to lead, manage, and supervise a multidisciplinary team
? Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills
? Willing to commute to Bromley office at least twice per week
