Key Responsibilities:
System Design and Integration:
* Design, develop, and integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems for automated production machinery.
* Ensure that the systems work seamlessly together (e.g., robots, conveyors, automated assembly lines, or sensors).
* Collaborate with other engineers (electrical, mechanical, software) to create or update integrated production systems.

Troubleshooting: (coordination with maintenance team)
* Perform regular inspections of automated systems, machinery, and equipment.
* Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, or control systems and organize with maintenance team to minimize downtime.
* Troubleshoot issues related to sensors, actuators, controllers, and other automation equipment.

Programming and Control Systems:
* Program and configure PLCs (Siemens and Beckhoff) and other control systems that manage automated machinery.
* Work with robotics programming for automated assembly or handling tasks. (Staubli, Kuka, ABB)
* Implement SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for monitoring and control.

Testing and Quality Assurance:
* Conduct performance testing of newly integrated systems or machines to ensure they meet production standards and specifications.
* Perform root-cause analysis when problems arise, recommending solutions for quality improvement.
* Support quality control measures by ensuring that systems are running at optimal performance and producing products to required standards.

Continuous Improvement:
* Monitor production processes and suggest improvements for efficiency, safety, and energy savings.
* Recommend new technologies or system upgrades to improve overall factory automation.
* Assist in the setup of new equipment or production lines and help train other employees on the new systems.

Safety and Compliance:
* Ensure that all systems and machinery comply with safety standards, regulations, and factory protocols.
* Conduct risk assessments and address potential safety hazards related to automated systems.
* Promote safe working practices, especially around high-speed or heavy-duty automated equipment.

Collaboration and Support:

Educational Background:?A degree or diploma in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. (Mechatronics Engineering will be a priority)

Technical Skills:
* Expertise in robotics, automation systems, PLCs, SCADA systems, and mechatronic components (sensors, actuators, motors, etc.).
* Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for designing parts and systems. (Solid works & Autocad)
* Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or specific PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
* Strong understanding of electrical circuits, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.

Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems that involve both hardware and software.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operators, and management.

Experience: Practical experience with automated production systems, manufacturing processes, and industrial machinery in?Lithium Battery?is often preferred.

Work Environment:
The role typically involves working in a factory or industrial setting with a combination of office work (for design or programming) and hands-on activities (maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing in the field).
