Electrical Project Engineer

Job Description

My client is seeking to add a Project Engineer/Coordinator to their team in Atlanta GA.

This position is ideal for a proactive, detail oriented and organized individual to support the start-up, maintenance and close out activities of electrical construction projects. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working on a variety of projects concurrently.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting Project Managers to gather, prepare, review and process various project documents permits, submittals, contracts, budget information, purchase orders, buy-outs, schedules.
Processing change proposal takeoff and entry, including time and material changes
Preparing Operations & Maintenance manuals for clients at closeout
Tracking all project documents, materials and processing the data entry of information for the projects assigned

Candidates must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, an advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel and an understanding of construction project cycles. Associates/Bachelors degree or related construction/electrical field experience, AutoCAD and Bluebeam knowledge is a plus.
