FP & A Accountant

Job Description

Butler Rose is partnering with the CFO and Head of Finance to recruit an FP&A professional to join a dynamic and forward-thinking finance team. With significant growth projected over the next 24 months, this role will be instrumental in providing key financial insights to drive business performance, budgeting, forecasting and collaborating closely with operational management teams.

*This is a full-time office-based role (five days a week) with flexible start times available.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance.
2. Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, highlighting key financial metrics and variances.
3. Partner with department heads to monitor costs, identify efficiencies and optimise profitability.
4. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess risks and opportunities.
5. Support cash flow forecasting and financial planning initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in FP&A, financial analysis or management accounting.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• A proactive and solutions-driven approach, with a strong focus on adding value to the business.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a medium-sized company or SME environment preferred.
