Registered Manager - Children's Residential Setting
Maythorn Residential Home, Biggleswade - Central Bedfordshire Council
We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join Maythorn Residential Home in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. This is an agency role with a negotiable pay rate (DOE). The role requires flexibility, with evening, night, and weekend working expected.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of 1 year experience in the last 5 years in a residential children's care setting, preferably with children and/or disabilities
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management position, including staff supervision
* Willingness to register with Ofsted as the manager of the home
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
* Experience in leadership and management within children's residential care, ideally as a Registered Manager
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Care or willingness to complete this
* Strong knowledge of SCCIF and Children's Homes Regulations
* Experience of Ofsted inspections
