Project Manager - Defence Contracts

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership and leadership of all Defence contracts. This role requires a proactive individual who will act as the vital link between clients, project teams, supply chain, and the pre-construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all defence projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Full ownership of all defence projects, ensuring high standards and successful outcomes
✔ Lead and manage the defence process, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
✔ Oversee Health & Safety compliance and ensure all project deliverables are met
✔ Manage design control, project timelines, and change processes
✔ Develop and maintain supply chain relationships, ensuring efficiency and collaboration
✔ Chair and coordinate stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication
✔ Provide leadership to project teams and performance manage team members
✔ Keep up to date with industry regulations and standards
✔ Ensure confidentiality and uphold our Client's values as a trusted industry leader

Skills & Experience:

✔ Strong background in construction and defence project management
✔ Proven experience in delivering large-scale projects
✔ Knowledge of NEC contracts and project management software
✔ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to manage risk, opportunity, and change effectively
✔ High level of IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, project management tools)
✔ Valid UK driving licence and ability to obtain security clearance & DBS certification
