? Qualified Social Worker (QSW) - Referral and Assessment ?

? Location: 42 York Street, Twickenham, Richmond TW1 3BW
? Rate: £37 per hour
? Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office/community, 2 days remote

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Referral and Assessment Team at Kingston & Richmond. This role involves working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, conducting assessments and interventions to safeguard children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
?? Safeguarding & Risk Management

Conduct child protection investigations and implement safety and contingency planning.
Undertake assessments under Section 17 and Section 47 of the Children Act 1989.
?? Direct Work with Families

Build strong relationships with children, families, and support networks.
Ensure the child's voice is central to case planning and recording.
?? Complex Case Management

Manage a diverse caseload, including court work and pre-proceedings cases.
Work with partner agencies to ensure children receive the right support.
?? Leadership & Professional Development

Support team management, deputising for Team Leaders when required.
Supervise and mentor ASYE social workers or students.
Actively engage in reflective supervision and group supervision.
About You:
? Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
? Strong experience in Referral & Assessment / Child Protection
? Experience with court proceedings and pre-proceedings
? Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
? Skilled in multi-agency collaboration
