Chief De Mission / Head of Mission - Transmission Distribution - Burkina Faso

Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Chief De Mission / Head of Mission to lead an ongoing substation and transmission line project in Burkina Faso. This role is a key leadership position overseeing project execution, contract management, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, ensuring effective project execution.
• Oversee the planning, staffing, and daily management of construction contracts.
• Act as the employer's representative, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders.
• Manage contractual matters, including contractor change requests, disputes, construction delays, and payments.
• Ensure that project files are well-maintained and up to date, providing timely management reports to the employer as required.

Requirements:

• French Fluency
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in project management of substations and transmission lines (≥ 90 kV).
• Proven expertise in contract management, dispute resolution, and project oversight.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to maintain good working relationships between project stakeholders.

Contract Details:

• Location: Burkina Faso (based at project headquarters).
• Contract Length: 6 months to 12 Months
