Chief De Mission - Power Distribution Project - Benin
Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Chief De Mission for an ongoing power distribution project in Benin. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a high-impact initiative in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the control, monitoring, and supervision of power distribution network expansion across more than 400 localities in West Africa and Benin.
- Lead project execution, ensuring compliance with technical and operational standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and manage a diverse team to drive project success.
- Provide expertise in electrical and electromechanical engineering while ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Travel occasionally across municipalities in Benin and internationally for factory inspections and staff training.
Requirements:
- Education: Engineering degree (BAC +5) in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of professional experience in the energy sector.
- Leadership: Must have served as Head of Mission for three similar projects in the past 10 years.
- Language: Fluent French (spoken and written) is essential.
- Preferred Experience:
- Proven track record in power distribution projects across West Africa.
- Experience in the control, monitoring, and supervision of densification works in electric power distribution.
Location & Salary:
- Location: Cotonou, Benin (office-based, with travel as required).
- Salary: €5000 - €6000 per month + Accommodation
