Eden Brown synergy are currently recruiting for Bristol City Council who are looking for Band 6 Senior Practitioner

Senior Practitioner - Adult Safeguarding (Community/Review Team) - Bristol
? Location: Bristol Community Links South, Langhill Avenue, Bristol, BS4 1TN
? Rate: £35 per hour (UMB)
? Working Pattern: 2 days in the office, 3 days WFH
? Local candidates preferred

Role Overview:
Bristol City Council is seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join the Adult Safeguarding Community/Review Team. This role is ideal for a social work professional with a strong background in safeguarding, supervision, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
Chairing Safeguarding Meetings and ensuring best practice
Supervision and allocation of cases within the team
Managing complex cases and providing expert guidance
Supporting the Team Manager in performance management and service delivery
Allocating cases and ensuring timely, proportionate interventions
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration (SWE)
Extensive experience in adult safeguarding
Proven ability to chair safeguarding meetings
Experience in supervision, case allocation, and performance management
Ability to work both remotely and in-office (2 days per week required)
Local candidates preferred due to face-to-face working requirements
