Qualified Social Worker - Learning Disabilities
Location: Cardiff
Pay Rate: Competitive (Locum)
Contract: Temporary/Locum

Eden Brown Synergy is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Learning Disabilities Team in Cardiff.

Role Overview:
In this role, you will support adults with learning disabilities by conducting Care Act assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and Mental Capacity Act (MCA) assessments. You will also work closely with families, health professionals, and external agencies to develop care and support plans.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Care Act Conversations using a strengths-based approach
Undertake safeguarding enquiries and Mental Capacity assessments
Work within a multi-disciplinary team to support individuals with complex needs
Manage a caseload while ensuring timely interventions
Work in line with relevant legislation (Care Act 2014, MCA 2005)
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with SWE registration
Experience in Learning Disabilities (LD) & Adult Social Care
Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and MCA 2005
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
