Leeds - Adults Social Worker/AMHP EDT OOH £40PH

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Social Workers/AMHPs to join a stable and supportive out-of-hours Adults Emergency Duty Team in Leeds. Based at the Becklin Centre (a centrally located acute inpatient hospital), you will work closely with health colleagues to provide high-quality social work and AMHP cover.

Key Responsibilities
Emergency Care Management: Respond swiftly to urgent referrals and provide crisis interventions.
Safeguarding: Handle safeguarding emergencies and ensure timely protection for vulnerable adults.
Mental Health Act Assessments: Conduct assessments in various settings, collaborating with healthcare professionals and other agencies.
Out-of-Hours Coverage: Provide comprehensive support from 4:30pm to 8am on weekdays and 24-hour cover on weekends and bank holidays.
Team Support & Collaboration
Managerial & Peer Support: Benefit from on-call senior managers and a supportive EDT backup group chat-you'll never face complex situations alone.
Close Health Partnerships: Work alongside health colleagues in a hospital environment, ensuring integrated, person-centered care.
Robust Systems & Processes: Access clear protocols and resources to fulfill the Council's statutory functions effectively out-of-hours.
