HR & Training Administrator

Location: Immingham

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

As part of our growth and continued investment in engineering expertise, we are seeking a highly skilled HR &Training Administrator to join our VPI HR Team.

The Role

We are looking for an Administrator who will support the HR team with day-to-day administrative activities and the maintenance of employee training and development records.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the HR Team with:

  • General ad-hoc administration and letter writing.
  • Data input and maintenance of employee data in the HRIS.
  • Act as note-taker during formal and informal HR meetings.
  • Supporting with the renewal process of employee benefits schemes. Such as private medical insurance, life assurance etc;
  • Supporting with the recruitment process as required.
  • Supporting with administration of employee development process and succession planning process.
  • Generate monthly HR reports for the HR Team and Senior Management Team.
  • Attend and support HR / Training audit meetings as and when required.
  • Supporting the HR team with delivering employee monthly calendar campaign, including health and wellbeing initiatives and Cycle-to-work scheme.

Supporting the Training Lead with:

  • Maintaining employee skills and competency profiles and training records and
  • certifications within the HRIS.
  • Maintaining employee training plans within the HRIS.
  • Arranging employee training courses.
  • Maintaining the document management system (DMS).
  • Support with invoice reconciliation.

Key Skills & Attributes

Essential

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills / in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy.
  • Ability to work on multiple work projects running simultaneously.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team and encourage collaborative working relationships.

Desired

  • Flexibility to travel to other VPI Group sites.
  • CIPD membership or working towards membership.

**Must have driving license and access to vehicle due to the remote locations of sites**
