Service Introduction Manager, Service Transition, Fully remote
Service Introduction Manager required for a leading financial services organisation.
Management is via umbrella company only.
Fully remote.
The successful candidate for the Service Introduction Manager vacancy will be responsible for creating a structured and controlled way of working to introduce and onboard new Services. The outcome being to influence delivery decisions early on rather than firefighting following the go-Live.
This role will be responsible for managing the introduction of change across our services ensuring the decision making of the change management group to reflect the Service Protection team's commitment to safeguarding and protecting live service.
General responsibilities: -
- Improve live service by increasing the quality of changes coming in, user experience focus essential.
- Assuring quality standards, particularly non-functional requirements, are applied to all changes into the live service.
- Continuously improving standards, processes and practices across Service Introduction Managers.
- Build operational and transition requirements into the solution from the start.
- Defining and improving the management system to identify, prioritise and track service improvements that have been raised through Service Transition activities.
- Working with the Release & implementation teams for Continuous improvement of the release process.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across projects, Service Management and leadership teams.
- Govern the delivery of all releases, major project's and high risk change
Experience required:-
- Release & Change processes
- Change Management processes
- Managing stakeholder groups across all Departments
- Experience in a Service Management, Release or Service Introduction Management background.
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and services.
- Knowledge of Project Management principles and methods.
- Previous or current experience in a Service Management role.
- Service Now knowledge and experience desirable.
- ITIL
- Knowledge or hands on experience in Release Management role.
