? Pay Rate: £35 p/h

Join Southampton's Adult Safeguarding Triage Team!
We are seeking two experienced Senior Social Workers to join our Adult Safeguarding Triage Team. This role focuses on triaging safeguarding concerns and referrals, ensuring statutory compliance and risk prioritisation.
Key Responsibilities:
?? Safeguarding Triage & Risk Assessment
Screen, assess, and prioritise incoming safeguarding referrals in line with statutory criteria and risk levels.
Apply the Care Act 2014 principles, ensuring the correct interface between safeguarding and eligibility criteria.
Ensure a proportionate response to risk management and needs assessment.
?? Allocation & Multi-Agency Coordination
Allocate cases requiring further assessment or intervention to the appropriate teams.
Work closely with health services, emergency teams, housing, and community partners.
Ensure a strengths-based, Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP) approach before service provision is considered.
?? Information, Advice & Decision-Making
Provide clear and appropriate advice, information, and guidance to service users and professionals.
Promote early intervention strategies to reduce crisis situations and unnecessary service dependency.
About You:
? Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
? Experience in adult safeguarding, triage, and risk assessment.
? Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding policies.
? Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, decision-making environment.
? Experience in working within a multi-agency setting.
