PE Forensics and Inspections Engineer (Buildings)

Job Description

40 Year old Structural Engineering firm with an established clientele in South Florida are growing their Forensics and Inspection division.

This Engineering firm boasts a diverse clientele, including noted architectural practices, governmental agencies, Fortune 500 companies, small business owners, public and private developers, general contractors, and custom homeowners. This broad client base reflects the firm's standing as a top source for engineering excellence in Florida.

• Experienced and competent in delivering milestone reports (40 Year re certification).
• Milestone inspection experience desirable bonus if a certified Special Inspector.
• Inspect and report on damaged buildings and structural failures.
• PE Licensed (Florida preferred).
• Strong background in Wood, Concrete and steel structures.
• Ability to build out and manage schedule of work.
• A team player.
• Face to face with home owners, commercial clients, condominium owners and local government.
• Up to date on Florida and South Florida building codes.
• Bonus if applicant comes from a Structural design back ground and can estimate on repair works and structural needs following inspections.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person inspections, office and work from home opportunities.

Salary starting at $120k and paying up to $150k depending on experience, certifications and contributions to growing the team - Should applicant be exeptional and posess a clientele and connections of their own, business development skills and 10+ years in Structural and Forensics there is further negotiation on this salary
