About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Manager to join our team in East Cornwall. This is a key leadership role, responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive business growth, manage contracts, and maximise profitability. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in financial planning, negotiation, and stakeholder management, ensuring sustainable success in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Assess commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to drive business efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience in a commercial management role, preferably within [specific industry, if applicable].
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
