Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Whitefield Intermediate (INT) Team in Bury. This role requires a minimum of two years' experience in adult social work within a statutory setting.

Role Details:
Location: Whitefield INT Team, Bury
Pay Rate: £30 per hour
Contract Length: TBC
Working Pattern: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of adults requiring social care support
Complete assessments, support plans, and reviews
Work on duty shifts to respond to urgent cases
Conduct Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Best Interests (BI) assessments
Undertake Court of Protection (CoP) work and contribute to Continuing Healthcare (CHC) assessments

Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with at least two years of experience in a statutory adult social work setting
Strong knowledge of adult social care legislation and frameworks
Experience in MCA, BI, CoP work, and CHC assessments
Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work efficiently under pressure
