Stockport - QSW - South Neighbourhood team

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the South Neighbourhood Team in Stockport. This role involves working with adults under the Care Act and supporting them in the community.

Role Details:
Location: Stockport - South Neighbourhood Team
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Hybrid Working: Minimum 2 office days per week
Driving: Ideally required
Contract: Temporary (duration TBC)

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out assessments, reviews, and interventions under the Care Act 2014
Work with adults in need of care and support to promote independence
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care
Ensure statutory duties and safeguarding responsibilities are met

Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience
Previous local authority experience preferred
Up-to-date knowledge of adult social care legislation
Must provide 3 years of references (gaps in employment history will be checked)
Relevant qualifications as per JDPS
