Join Islington's Adult Learning Disabilities Team!
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Team Manager (DTM) to join Islington's Adult Learning Disabilities Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Senior Social Worker looking to step into a leadership role or an experienced DTM seeking a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:
?? Supervision & Team Support:

Supervise and support up to 5 Social Workers within the team.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and reflective supervision to team members.
Ensure high-quality practice through case audits, QA, and professional development.
?? Case Management & Complex Cases:

Hold a small caseload of complex cases involving adults with learning disabilities.
Oversee Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments (MCA), and Best Interest Decisions (BIA).
Develop and review support plans and risk management strategies.
?? Multi-Agency Collaboration & Safeguarding:

Work closely with healthcare professionals, housing teams, and voluntary services.
Support the team in managing safeguarding concerns and ensuring compliance with adult safeguarding legislation.
Contribute to service development and quality assurance initiatives.
About You:
? Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with Social Work England registration.
? Strong experience in adult social care, learning disabilities, and safeguarding.
? Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a social care setting.
? Excellent understanding of the Care Act 2014, MCA 2005, and DoLS.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring best practices.
