Role
Working across teams and functions, you will:
- Act as an advocate for accessibility, identifying areas for improvement within existing practice and providing the drive to make change happen.
- Apply your expert advice to the accessibility of our products (print and digital) and platforms, ensuring that our approaches to accessibility meet regulatory requirements and satisfy our commitments to equality and expanding access.
- Enable us to meet our responsibilities to customers/users with diverse accessibility needs, while maintaining the quality of our products and services, now and in an evolving digital landscape.
- Ensure that legal obligations in respect of supporting the needs of learners with SEND are met in the context of the European Accessibility Act 2025, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Equalities Act 2010 etc.
- Engage with and contribute to the cross-company accessibility community.
- Input into accessibility strategy both within Products & Services and cross-product group.
- Perform ad-hoc accessibility testing on our products and platforms, as well as full audits when required.
- Research advances in accessibility with an aim to push our products beyond legal requirements where possible.
