Mechanical Project Manager - Life Sciences Construction, Norwich

We are urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a contractor-based position within a £30m project focusing primarily on mechanical works valued over £20m.

This opportunity is based in vibrant Norwich and offers challenging yet rewarding work environments associated with life sciences construction. This will be a contract role with a minimum contract length of 12 months with opportunity to stay for at least two years given the scope of work.

Role Overview:
- Project Management: Oversee all stages of the substantial HVAC, piping, and ductwork package.
- Team Leadership: Direct management responsibilities for a skilled technical team ensuring top performance levels.
- Client Interaction: Act as primary liaison between subcontractors (including electrical teams) and clients guaranteeing clear communication lines throughout project timelines.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Strong background managing large-scale mechanical packages preferably within controlled or sterile environments such as laboratories or similar settings
Proficient understanding of various aspects like HVAC systems installation, pipework coordination across sizable facilities
Experience managing a team
