As a Project Support Officer, you know what is in place can often be improved to make things more effective, efficient and safe. You will drive a team culture of safe working and safety compliance in all activities. 

You will be a role model and demonstrate visible safety leadership to all stakeholders including the identification of best practices and safety initiatives. 

You will provide technical support and site guidance to project contractors for the full life cycle of the project. 
 
  • Supporting project planning and design, hazard and risk studies, off site and on-site witness testing.
  • Providing operational and technical input during construction and commissioning activities. 
  • Ensuring databooks, drawings and asset information is updated and training is provided supporting final close out of the project. 
What we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of carrying out isolations, be comfortable in supervising contractors as an Authorised Person with knowledge of instrument loops and working with P&IDs. 

You will be educated to an Electrical or Instrumentation NVQ level 3 (or above) standard. It would be particularly advantageous to have knowledge of fire & gas, gas quality and control systems.

We recognise we are a niche company, therefore don't worry if you do not meet 100% of the requirements because we know that there is a wealth of transferable skills from other industries but you will have worked in a permit compliant environment.
