Contract Opportunity: Electrical Engineer - Gatwick - 6 months

On behalf of our client we are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to join our team for an exciting contract role in Gatwick.

Responsibilities

Lead and undertake a variety of consultancy packages including, but not limited to:

  • Strategic consultancy
  • Feasibility and master planning
  • Traditional design
  • Engineering
  • Commissioning & IST management
  • Certifications and compliance
  • Design and specify LV cabling and associated containment systems
  • Select and specify HV/LV Transformers, Switchgear, UPS, Standby Generation solutions
  • Design and specify lighting, small power, and ancillary control systems
  • Design and specify building services systems & general electrical installations
  • Utilize design packages including Amtech and Dialux or equivalent

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly within data center environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in design software such as Amtech and Dialux or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
