Role

The D&T Business Analyst - Procurement & STP will be a key contributor to the delivery of Procurement & STP digital transformation projects. This role will be accountable for partnering with the Global Procurement & GBO teams in driving efficiency and effectiveness and aligning with their priorities., * Liaise and communicate with Procurement & STP key users and stakeholders on initiatives prioritized within the D&T portfolio, recommending solutions to achieve organizational goals.

  • Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of Procurement & STP
  • products and solutions used in operations.
  • Elicit, analyze, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and policies, translating them into well-defined product requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Define business requirements and gaps to defined solution standards.
  • Design process, data, and technology to fulfill requirements in collaboration with business users, solution vendors, consultants, and subject matter experts.
  • Design information and application security.
  • Build knowledge and competency among user population.
  • Test, deploy, and stabilize operations of the solution.
  • Identify and drive improvements/enhancements to Procurement & STP processes or products, including preventing or correcting defects and making changes, enhancements, and maintenance of the system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to ensure technology investments and products are well-integrated across the Supply Product line, creating efficiency, enabling growth, and lowering support costs.

Business Engagement, Strategy, and Execution:

  • Capture as-is business capability maturity and processes to at least L4.
  • Define, align, and publish to-be business capability maturity to deliver strategic objectives, including target process flows.
  • Anticipate and identify future opportunities, providing external perspectives and provocation.
  • Support application rationalization roadmap and develop robust business cases for strategic prioritization of D&T investment.
  • Support identification of high-level impact of change from development/transformation of identified business capabilities.
  • Build credible relationships with stakeholders and SMEs within the category, representing the market within D&T.
  • Collaborate with the category to identify technology solutions aligning with strategic priorities and driving operational efficiency.
  • Work towards value optimization of D&T for the market, considering new technology investments, adoption, usage of key systems, and service excellence.
  • Participate and perform analysis in strategic planning sessions, providing technology insights and recommendations.
  • Gather requirements from business units and translate them into actionable technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with solution teams in respective value streams to deliver the technology roadmap as per commitments.
