Role

This dynamic and fast-paced operational role requires leading by example and advocating for Health and Safety within the Logistics Teams and wider Operations. The role involves managing the onsite logistics contract with our 3PL partner, serving as the primary onsite link to Make and Plan organizations to ensure end-to-end alignment, and embodying a continuous improvement attitude toinspire change., * Ownership of onsite Health & Safety, HMRC, and CARM Compliance for all 3PL activities.

  • Operational responsibility to deliver critical metrics and scorecards, ensuring consistent production and network flow.
  • Leading and driving projects to achieve productivity and efficiency savings. Serving as the onsite logistics contact, decision maker, and escalation point for all Plan & Make stakeholders (including the Site Director).
  • Acting as the Onsite Move Team Representative with a direct daily link to the Scotland Primary Logistics Network.
  • Health & Safety: Ensuring everyone goes home safe every day
  • Line Management Responsibility
  • Managing the on-site 3PL Partners Service Level Agreement contract and owning the On-Site Cost Base with clear targets to reduce distribution Cost Per Case
  • Leading Continuous Improvement as the Site Lead for all Logistics Improvement Projects and ensuring Manufacturing Excellence Compliance.
  • Managing the relationship between Diageo and WHM (3PL) and ensuring operational execution

This role encompasses all logistics areas and activities at the Shieldhall Production Site and connects to the wider Scotland Network from Monday to Friday.
