The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and development of mechanical systems for world-class data centres across the globe. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you'll ensure that their projects meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and specification of HVAC, cooling, and other mechanical systems for data centres.
  • Oversee the integration of energy-efficient and sustainable solutions into designs.
  • Perform detailed engineering analysis, including load calculations and system optimization.
  • Work closely with clients, project managers, and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and apply best practices to your work.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in the design of mechanical systems, ideally within data centres or mission-critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability principles.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is highly desirable.
