Pension Specialist

Venn Group is partnered with an organisation that supports the UK parliament, to recruit a Members' Pension Specialist on a 6 month fixed term contract. The successful postholder will be responsible for providing governance support to Trustees, focusing on pension governance, administration, and communication., * Manage the annual timetable for Trustee meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes within set deadlines

• Prepare briefing materials and conduct research, ensuring up-to-date knowledge in relevant areas
• Assist in the annual audit process and preparation of pension scheme accounts, along with drafting and maintaining business plan reports for Trustees
• Oversee pension fund expenditure, monitor invoices, and support general stewardship duties
• Manage communication with Trustees, Members, and former Members, providing a high-quality, responsive service
• Engage with Members of Parliament on pension matters
• Support the team in contract management of Trustee-appointed suppliers
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide ad hoc project management assistance
